Who Is Willing To Show You How To Make Money?

Are you trying to make money on Google?  There’s been a lot of hype lately about the different programs Google offers to help you get your site back in the black – or earning you profits.  But what should you trust?  And how do you go about making your website into a new source of income?

There are a lot of scams out there who are more than willing to show you how to make money – for a small shipping and handling fee to pay for the book they’ll supposedly send you.  Maybe they’ll even send you a book.  Who knows?  But the point is that there are sites out there posing as Google that simply aren’t Google.  And they’ve usually got one thing in common: your credit card.  You wouldn’t normally hand that to a total stranger, right?  So don’t hand it out online.  Google does their work online; you’re not going to need a special handbook to learn how to use their programs, and they’re not going to put fancy tags, emphasizing how “free” it is.  If the site looks fishy, do some serious research on it before trusting their program.

The most popular Google programs (that actually belong to Google) are AdWords and AdSense.  These programs are based on advertising, and they aren’t going to come without some form of payment.  (In the case of AdSense, that payment is in the form of your own site’s advertising space.)  But the initial registration isn’t going to cost you anything, and you’re not going to need to buy some crazy “for dummies” book about them.  You’ll just need to sign up.

So if you’re looking at making money online, you shouldn’t shun the whole idea like the plague.  Google isn’t going to demand you sell your soul.  But you should be wary of those out there who would like to take your pocketbook.
