Most people often assume that the ability to jump high is inborn and those who are not lucky enough to find it in them to jump high have no future in sport.  This is misguided and unfortunate because truth is that the ability to jump high is gained through practice and targeted exercises that aim at strengthening the leg muscles to equip them well to jump high explosively.  There are a number of physical exercises that when done right repetitively can train the leg muscles, joints and tissues to gain higher vertical displacement over time.</p>
<p>The key to achieving this ability is actually the leg muscles.  Human body is has different fibers, muscles and joints that control the legs ability to thrust the body upwards with sufficient force to keep the body amid air for long.
